for families and newborns

 

Our photo session is all about who you are, together. Whether at home or your favorite outdoor location, we’ll spend an hour and create a collection of photographs to hang on your wall and put in an album. You’ll do whatever comes naturally, and I’ll quietly observe behind my camera (kind of like your personal, less-stalkerish paparazzi). I won’t be shooting the whole time, instead watching for the points of connection that make your particular moments in time the ones you’ll never want to forget.

 frequently asked questions

Do you help with outfit coordination?

Yes! I love helping to style your family sessions!

Do you reschedule for overcast?

No, I do not reschedule for overcast but in the event of clouds I prefer to move the session time up a bit.

 

Can our session be anytime during the day?

For outdoor lifestyle sessions, I prefer to shoot either at sunrise or sunset for the best possible light. However, I realize that is not always possible with children’s bedtime schedules. . I do have a few locations that can work a bit later in the morning or earlier in the evening. When you are deciding when to book your session, keep in mind that sunset during the summer months is fairly late. If you have little ones that go to bed early, booking a session in the fall when the sunset is earlier may work best for your children’s schedule.

Newborn lifestyle sessions take place either in your home mid morning or outside during sunrise to sunset.

How many people are included in the family session?
